Frequently Asked Questions

How can I make a reservation?

You can call us at 610-412-7811 or email us at Jetsbounce@comcast.net. You can also fill out the form on the home page with a brief description 24 hours a day. We will contact you no later than the next day.

How much does it cost to rent a bounce house?

We offer a full day rental which is up to 8 hours per day. Price is determined by location and the surface the inflatable will be set up on.

How can I pay?

Cash or credit card with square reader upon delivery. We occasionally accept personal checks.

Can I pick up the bounce house or will it be delivered?

Due to safety concerns, we will handle delivery, setup and takedown of bigger inflatables. Indoor or smaller units could be picked up.

When does the unit arrive?

We will deliver the unit at your request. Also, we will make sure to set up at least 30 minutes before your party starts.

Are the units clean?

Absolutely! Every unit is cleaned and sanitized before the next event. Sometimes they will be cleaned on the spot if they have just left a prior party.

How much room do I need for a bounce house?

You will need at least an area 5' wider than the bounce house on all sides. For example, a 15' x 15' bounce house will

need an area of 25' x 25' minimum. Also watch for overhead power lines and tree branches.

What kind of surface can a bounce house be placed on?

Level grass is preferable. Units will be anchored using 18" (min) steel stakes for stability. Staking is best for anchoring bounce houses.

The renter is responsible to locate underground utilities/sprinklers etc... prior to our arrival. Call PA ONE CALL if you want to be extra sure. We can also set up on concrete, asphalt, and indoors. Sand bags will be used in place of ground stakes in this case. Not all units can be used outdoors with sand bag anchors. So please let us know the type of surface we will be setting up on so we can provide the appropriate anchors for your event.

Do bounce houses require power?

Yes they do. They need a continuous supply of power to run the blower. A standard 20 amp 120V household outlet is sufficient. Customers are responsible for providing power to the bounce house. Jets Bounce Party Rentals supply extension cords. We also rent generators if power cannot be supplied.

Are there requirements that a company must follow to legally rent bounce houses?

Sure are! To operate legally in Pennsylvania, every unit has to be registered with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.

Also, units have inspection and maintenance log requirements. And of course Insurance.

What if it rains?

If there is a chance of rain, try to postpone a few hours before the scheduled arrival of the unit. Once the unit has been delivered, there is no reimbursement.

Does a bounce house need attendants?

No ifs ands or buts! For events such as backyard parties, we will train a responsible person (at least 16 years of age) from your party how to operate the equipment safely. Same rules apply for public events. Bottom line, if children are inside the bounce house it needs supervised at all times! Note: In a public setting its a lot different in that a lot of people are watching how you keep control of the inflatable.

What if I want to have my party at a park?

We can do that, but make sure you obtain any necessary permits to do so. Also, check to see if you will need a generator.

What if I have a problem during my party?

Problems are rare but if there is an issue with our equipment, please call at once. Don't wait until your party is over. We want you to enjoy every bit of your rental time

What should I do to get ready for a bounce house?

Please measure the area to see if there is enough room. Second, check your electrical outlet and test it to see if it is working. We need power within 100' minimum. Third, mow your lawn and check for sticks, dog waste, etc..

Do sandboxes and bounce houses get along?

We ask if you do have a sandbox to please cover it if you are renting a bounce house from us. Sand in the bounce houses are very difficult to clean. The kids will have much more fun in the bounce house anyway. We appreciate it!
